What happens next
For planned work, someone arranges a time to look at the tree. You get a written quote with the scope spelled out: what comes down, what stays, whether the stump is included, what happens to the timber and the chip, and whether council approval is needed before anything starts.
If a Sutherland Shire Council application is required, that is flagged before the quote is accepted, not discovered halfway through. The about page explains how the referral arrangement works and what documents to ask any contractor for.

Frequently asked questions
What should I have ready when I call?
The suburb and street, roughly how tall the tree is compared with the house, what is directly underneath it, and how a person gets from the street to the tree. Photos help enormously — one from the base looking up, one from the far side of the yard, and one of the driveway or side gate. That is usually enough to give you a realistic range on the phone.
Do you charge for a quote or an inspection?
Standard onsite quotes for removal, pruning, stump grinding or palm work are free and carry no obligation. A written arborist report to support a council application is a separate professional service and is charged, because it takes an AQF Level 5 consultant's time and carries their name. We tell you up front which one your job needs.
What counts as an emergency callout?
A tree or large limb on a roof, a car or a fence. A limb hanging in the canopy above a path, driveway or play area. A trunk blocking the only vehicle access. Anything touching or near powerlines is different — call Ausgrid or triple zero first, because the network owner controls work near live conductors and no tree crew should touch it.
